U.S. Bells Store

The US Bells Store in Prospect Harbor carries our full collection of wind bells, door bells, and hardware. We also feature wood-fired pottery by Liza Fisher, custom furniture by Tim Fisher, and brightly patterned quilts by Cindy Fisher. Additionally, we offer a selection of crafts by other artists from around the state.
Our three studios are located on site where you are welcome to browse and view the bell casting process. Foundry pours are generally scheduled around 11:30 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays throughout the summer and fall, however this schedule can vary slightly. Visitors are welcome to watch our pours and may wish to contact us to confirm the timing.
We are located just a few miles from the Schoodic section of Acadia National Park and just across Frenchman Bay from Mt. Desert Island and Bar Harbor. The nearby villages of Corea and Winter Harbor offer several other shops, galleries, restaurants and food offerings.

A breezy day at our shop. We leave an assortment of bells outside the gallery so visitors can enjoy the sounds as they respond to the changing winds and weather. Some have been outside for many years and have developed a rich and mellow patina.

Our store is open year round but we only keep set hours during the summer and fall: Monday-Friday 10-4, Saturday 10-1. In the off-season contact us to arrange your visit. Closed most holidays.

We are located a 1/2 hour drive from Ellsworth, ME. Follow Rte. 1 East for approx. 20 miles to Gouldsboro. Turn right on Rte. 195 to Prospect Harbor (5 miles). At the harbor turn left on Rte. 186. We are on the left at the top of the hill (1/2 mile).
